We teach two styles of Reiki at our center, Usui Reiki and Karuna® Reiki. Usui Reiki focuses on the methods, techniques, and Reiki symbols that was taught by Mikao Usui. Karuna® Reiki is a variant of Usui Reiki that addresses a wider array of energies and utilizes a larger subset of symbols. In both forms of Reiki, the student is initiated by receiving a series of attunements from a Master/Teacher.

What is a Reiki attunement?

Reiki Attunement is the name given to the process in which the Reiki Master (teacher) imprints on the consciousness of the student the energy signature of the Reiki energy. During this process the Reiki Master will place their hands on the head and hands of the student. This process is very similar to many forms of blessing found in other spiritual disciplines.

What are Reiki symbols?

Reiki symbols are generally (but not always) Japanese or Sanskrit derived characters that represent a Reiki energy concept. Through visualization exercises and attunements the student becomes sensitive to the Reiki energy and learns to direct this energy for various purposes. These symbols possess no power in themselves. They are visual queues that allow the practitioner to entrain their consciousness to a particular aspect of the Reiki energy field.

A general outline of the different levels or Reiki training are listed below.

Level I/II Usui Reiki

At our center, we usually combine both level one and level two training together and teach them in a two day intensive workshop that included ample time for lecture, demonstration, discussion and experience. A 200 page manual and certificate are included with the class. Since the Level I and Level II portions of the training are offered on separate days, the student may decide to take the combined Level I/II session or they may choose to pay for and attend only that portion of the training that they need. This combined workshop includes:

• Learn about the history of Reiki,
• Gain and understanding of what Reiki is, and how it heals
• Gain an understanding of the human subtle energy system
• Receive Usui/Tibetan attunements,
• Perform Reiki meditations,
• Learn how to use Reiki to heal themselves and others,
• Learn how to do a complete Reiki treatment,
• Practice Scanning and Beaming,
• Study various Reiki treatment techniques,
• Learn to perform Distant Healing,
• Learn the Second Degree symbols and how to use them to amplify and better utilize Reiki energies.

Prerequisite: A willingness to learn

Levels I is $95 and Level II may be taken separately for $75 with a $15 deposit due at the time of registration. The balance is payable on the first day of class.

Both levels combined cost $150 with a $30 deposit due at the time of registration. The balance is payable on the first day of class.

Certified Advanced Reiki training/ Master (Teachers) Training Usui Reiki

ART is open to all Reiki II Practitioners, while Reiki Master/Teacher is open to all Reiki ART Practitioners. On completing this two day workshop, you will be able to teach all levels of Usui/Tibetan Reiki. Practice time for all techniques, as well as attunements is given. A class manual and certificate are included. Since the ART and Masters portions of the training are offered on separate days, the student may decide to take the combined ART/Masters session or they may choose to pay for and attend only that portion of the training that they need. During this session the student will;

• Receive Usui/Tibetan attunements for Advanced Reiki and Master,
• Learn Aura Clearing to remove blocks,
• Learn to use of crystals with Reiki,
• Create a Reiki grid to continuously send Reiki to yourself and others,
• Learn the values and spiritual orientation of a true Reiki Master,
• Learn to give attunements to others (Must be signed up both days for this part of the training).

Prerequisite: Usui Reiki level I and II

The ART (Advanced Reiki Training) class may be taken for $125, with a $25 deposit due at the time of registration. The balance payable on the first day of class.

The Master/Teacher class may be taken for $350, with a deposit of $50 is due at the time of registration. The balance is payable on the first day of class.

Both classes may be taken together for $450, with a $50 deposit due at the time of registration. The balance is payable on the first day of class.

Level I/II Karuna® Reiki Practitioner

This class is a one-day intensive workshop, and is open to any Usui Reiki II practitioner. Class manual and certificate are provided, along with practice time and hands-on experience. During this session the student will;

• Learn about the history of Karuna Reiki,
• Perform Reiki meditations,
• Learn four Level I and four Level II Karuna Symbols,
• Learn the specific uses for each symbol,
• Receive the Karuna I and Karuna II practitioner attunements,
• Practice giving treatments using all symbols,
• Learn chanting and toning with Karuna Reiki.

Prerequisite: Usui Reiki Level II

The total costs for this full session of training is $200. A deposit of $50 is due at the time of registration with the balance payable on the first day of class.

Karuna® Master/Teacher Training

A one-day intensive workshop, this class is for all Usui Reiki Masters seeking to improve their healing abilities. Upon completion of this class, you will be able to pass on all levels of Karnua (R) Reiki. The Karuna (R) Practitioner class is not required. Practice time on all techniques and attunements is given, along with a class manual and certificate. During this session the student will;

• Learn four Level I and four Level II Karuna symbols along with four Master symbols and their uses,
• Karuna, Karuna II Master and practitioner attunements,
• Learn chanting and toning with Karuna Reiki,
• Practice giving treatments using all symbols,
• Receive instruction and practice giving all attunements (Master Only),
• Learn how to teach Karuna Reiki in a four Level program or in a weekend intensive seminar (Master Only).

Prerequisite: Usui Reiki Masters level

The total costs for this full session of training is $400. A deposit of $50 is due at the time of registration with the balance payable on the first day of class.

How can I learn Reiki ?

Reiki is easy and enjoyable to learn. At our center, Reiki instruction is broken down into several levels. Each level of training is usually conducted over a weekend in an individual or a small group setting. After passing each class, the student will receive a certificate for their level of training. Upon receiving certification, the student is authorized and empowered to practice Reiki publicly and to use the name of their Reiki style in publications and advertisement.
